Most likely you have not shared your current location, so Hukup can not display nearby seekers.
To fix it: On the home screen, pull down to refresh, it will ask to allow location share- click on “Only while using the app”. Check more on location sharing

- How much would it cost me?
It is free. You can browse, filter, connect and chat with potential matches without worrying about paying.
- Who is Hukup Australia website/app for?
Hukup Australia has something for every Australian. All genders: Males, Females, Trans, Couples - Bi, Gay, Lesbian and Straight would be able to find a match.
- I am a lesbian and don’t want men to see my profile, is it possible?
Exactly that is what is the logic behind this portal, if you are a lesbian or lesbian couple, your profile would only be visible to females who are lesbians or bi and couples with bi or lesbian females.
- I am a straight boy, how can I ensure that no men can see me?
It is inbuilt in the algorithm of Hukup Australia that if your profile is as a straight male, only females and couples can see you and seen by you. So, you do not need to do anything.
- Can I filter out to narrow down potential matches?
Yes of course there are extensive filters available, you can filter profiles based on Physical, Sexual, Personal, and other fields in match profile to find exactly what you are looking for.
- What filters are available to narrow down my search for potential matches?
Filters are available for every profile field plus more.
- Can I upload and keep my photo private so as to share them as needed?
Yes, you can upload photos to your Public and Private Gallery. Public photos are visible to every potential match. Private photos will be visible only after you share them with the individual profile. Private Gallery access expires after 24 hours of viewing them. So, you won’t need to remember to remove access.
- What is the button “Going on Date” for?
This is a feature created for your safety. For example, if you click on “Going on Date” on the Chat page/tab. It will save your conversation with that individual for the next 30 days, even if any of you delete their chat or account, or block the other. This conversation can be retrieved for your safety within 30 days of licking the button. This is valuable, if any act of threat or violence has happened on your date. Remember this can be retrieved only if you click “Going on Date”.
- How do I use the safety feature “Going on Date”?
Just click on “Going on Date” on the Chat page/tab. It will save your conversation with that individual for the next 30 days, regardless of whether any of you delete their chat or account, or block the other. This conversation can be retrieved if any act of violence or otherwise is required by law enforcement agencies concerning your safety. Remember this can be retrieved only if you click “Going on Date”.
